"Verses under the Tower" concluded with a resounding success. Promoted by the Municipality of Ruviano in collaboration with Aps Pro Loco Raiano and sponsored by UNPLI (National Union of Pro Loco of Italy), the event attracted a record turnout of enthusiasts and writers. The awards ceremony took place at the Alvignanello Multifunctional Center (Ruviano) and featured a musical interlude by Alessandro Fusco.

Michela Pietropaolo, creator and organizer of the event together with the Pro Loco, expressed great satisfaction with the event's success. "This event was born out of the love we all have for an extraordinary territory, which deserves to be promoted.", she said. According to the doctor, the event succeeded in raising interest in Ruviano, attracting curious visitors who then became ambassadors for the land. She also praised the variety and creativity of the works presented this year, thanking all the participants for sharing their stories and poems.
Poetry Section Winners
In the "Poetry in Italian" section, first prize was awarded to Rosa Maria Testa of Naples for her work "The True History of Nature." Second place went to Mirko Marasco of Naples for his poem "Immigration – On the Beach of Exile," while Cetti Perrone of Messina took third place with "Dedalo di ricordi."
Awarded in the Narrative Section
Giovanni Samperisi from Naro won first prize with the story “Cecè and Tobia who violated the rules and became friends”. Second place went to Rodolfo Andrei from Rome with “La noce”, while Pietro Rainero from Acqui Terme won third place with “Tempo serpente”.
Poetry in Vernacular
In the “Vernacular Poetry” category, Gianni Terminiello of Massa Lubrense took first place with “A' miseria da' vita.”

Miriam Colasante from Guardiagrele won the “Senior Narrativa” section with “Isaù e il nome”. Gabriele Andreani from Pesaro took second place with “Non ci resta che aspetta” and Rosaria Pepe from Naples took third place with “Questo mondo di rugiada”.
Conclusions
The winners were presented with splendid local ceramics, created partly with funds from the National Plan for the Promotion of Villages (PNRR) (Investment 2.1) and partly with the participants' registration fees. The "Versi sotto la Torre" competition brings together poets and writers of all ages and backgrounds, offering them the opportunity to express their creativity and pay homage to the historical and cultural heritage of the area. Thanks to this event, Ruviano is enriched with new stories and poems, promoting the rediscovery of its beauty and strengthening the sense of community and belonging.
