The awards ceremony took place at the Centro Polifunzionale di Alvignanello (Ruviano) and was enriched by a musical interlude curated by Alessandro Fusco.

Second place went to Mirko Marasco of Naples with the poem “Immigration – On the beach of exile”, while Cetti Perrone of Messina obtained third place with “Dedalo di ricordi”.

Giovanni Samperisi from Naro won the first prize with the story “Cecè and Tobia who violated the rules and became friends”. Second place went to Rodolfo Andrei from Rome with “La noce”, while Pietro Rainero from Acqui Terme took third place with “Tempo serpente”.

In the category “Vernacular Poetry”, Gianni Terminiello from Massa Lubrense took first place with “A' miseria da' vita”. In second place was Vincenzo Cerasuolo from Marigliano with “A casa mia”, followed by Angelo Canino from Acri with “A Giacca e patrima”.
“Memories of a Time” Section
Luigi Specchio from Salerno won the “Memories of a Time” section with the writing “Beata gioventù”. Second place was awarded to Carmine Montella from Baiano with “Tra le case della mia infanzia”, while Daniela Moreschini from Rome obtained third place with “Un tramonto per te”.
Senior Poetry
In the “Senior Poetry in Italian and Vernacular” section, first prize went to Vittorio Ruocco from Faiano Pontecagnano for “A Dream Called Freedom”. Second place went to Ciro Iannone from Melito di Napoli with “Cusumiello”, while third prize was awarded to Concezio Del Principio from Atri with “Ti voglio bene!”.
Senior Narrative
Miriam Colasante from Guardiagrele won the “Senior Narrativa” section with “Isaù e il nome”. Gabriele Andreani from Pesaro took second place with “Non ci resta che aspetta” and Rosaria Pepe from Naples took third place with “Questo mondo di rugiada”.
Conclusions
The winners were given splendid local ceramics, made partly with funds from the PNRR (investment 2.1 attractiveness of villages) and partly with the registration fees of the participants. The "Versi sotto la Torre" competition manages to bring together poets and writers of all ages and backgrounds, offering them the opportunity to express their creativity and pay homage to the historical and cultural heritage of the area. Thanks to this event, Ruviano is enriched with new stories and poems, promoting the rediscovery of its beauties and strengthening the sense of community and belonging.
