Gragnano. Tension in the municipal administration of Gragnano, governed by the center-right mayor Nello D'Auria for his sudden and unexpected decision to revoke the appointment of councilor to the architect Lucido Di Gregorio.
In his note, the mayor explains that “the relationship of trust has failed”, without going into details. But it will evidently leave strong repercussions because the councilor, who had the important delegations of urban planning – landscape protection – architectural heritage protection – soil protection – hydrogeological instability – private construction – control of the territory was the reference of the municipal councilor Catello Scotognella, record holder of votes in the last municipal elections with 997 personal preferences.
The young man is the son of Vincenzo Scotognella, known as o' frick, a character known to the news for his trucking scams but above all for having been involved in the famous theft of equipment from the television programme “Ciao Darwin” on Canale 5 which took place in 2010.
The delegations of the architect Lucido Di Gregorio for the moment remain in office at Mayor pending the appointment of the new assessor. But it will not be easy and could lead to unexpected political upheavals within the city council that will have to be convened in the coming days.
