Fermati un 20enne e un 41enne per spaccio e resistenza a pubblico ufficiale. È stato un intervento massiccio quello condotto la scorsa notte dai Carabinieri della Compagnia di Caserta. Un servizio coordinato a largo raggio ha portato all’arrest di due persone, alla denuncia di altre nove e al sequestro di armi e droga. Dieci pattuglie del Nucleo Operativo e Radiomobile e delle Stazioni locali hanno perlustrato il centro cittadino e le principali vie di collegamento con i comuni limitrofi, controllando 180 persone e 57 veicoli.Article Key Points
The operation ended with 65 fines for violations of the highway code, for a total of approximately 35.000 euros. Seven vehicles were seized, three placed under administrative detention and five licenses withdrawn. Five young people were reported as drug users for possession of small quantities of hashish.
Nine people were reported for various crimes, including illegal possession of weapons, drunk driving, possession of false documents and drug dealing. During the checks, a switchblade, a baseball bat and two wooden truncheons were seized.

Moments of tension occurred around 23:00 p.m., when a white Renault Twingo did not stop at the stop sign imposed by the Carabinieri in Piazza della Seta. The driver attempted to run over a soldier and took off in a mad dash towards the Vaccheria area. After a chase of a few hundred meters, the soldiers stopped the car.
On board were a 20-year-old and a 16-year-old, both from Caserta and Naples. During the search, the 20-year-old was found in possession of ten doses of cocaine and 624 euros in cash. In the car were found a knuckleduster, two precision scales, drug packaging material, a 29 cm cleaver and a kitchen knife.
The 20-year-old was arrested and placed under house arrest on charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing and illegal possession of weapons. A few hours later, a second arrest was made at a therapeutic community in the Caserta area. Carabinieri they tracked down a 41-year-old from Naples, the recipient of a prison order for drug-related crimes, after the revocation of his therapeutic assignment.
