Anti-drug blitz by the State Police in Maddaloni: Rosa Farina, 38, was arrested on charges of drug dealing.
The operation, conducted by agents of the local Public Safety Commissioner's Office, is part of the activities to combat drug trafficking in the province.
Yesterday afternoon, the police noticed suspicious movements of some people near the woman's home on the outskirts of the city. Suspicious, they decided to search the apartment, where they discovered a real drug distribution center.
Hidden in the bathroom, the officers found approximately 50 grams of “crack”, precision scales, cash and the material needed to package the doses. Some cameras were also seized, used to monitor the outside of the house and prevent interventions by the police.
At the time of the break-in, there were also 5 customers who were reported to the Prefecture
Five buyers were caught inside the apartment, subsequently reported to the Prefecture for the administrative measures required by law. At the end of the operations, the 38-year-old was transferred to the Secondigliano prison in Naples, where she remains in custody awaiting validation of the arrest by the judicial authorities.
The intervention is part of a broader strategy of territorial control, aimed at curbing the phenomenon of drug dealing and ensuring greater security in the area.
This is a very serious thing that is happening in the city, I hope the police continue to do their job to stop drug dealing. But we also need to understand the causes that lead to these situations. Security is important.
