The baby robber who had spread panic between Boscoreale and Pompei ends up in handcuffs. A twenty-year-old local, believed to be responsible for two violent robberies and other criminal episodes, was arrested by the Carabinieri of the Boscoreale Station on the orders of the GIP of the Court of Torre Annunziata, after a tight investigation coordinated by the Oplontina Prosecutor's Office.
The young man is seriously suspected of aggravated robbery in competition, illegal possession of weapons and aggravated theft. According to investigators, together with a peer who had already ended up in jail for the same facts, he would have carried out two robberies: the first against a pharmacy, the second at a service station.
The testimonies of the victims, the images extracted from various video surveillance systems and the discovery of stolen license plates, used to disguise a rental car used in the raids, were crucial for the raid. At the end of the formal procedures, the young man was transferred to the prison in Naples Poggioreale, the same place where his accomplice already is.
