Naples, capital of creativity, at the Madre Museum Google-nss newsstand collaboration thanks to the features of the new Pixel 9
Exclusive partnership between Google and our newsstand to celebrate the link between technology and creativity. The project has as its beating heart Naples, a city that is a symbol of creative energy and cultural tradition: for this very reason five Neapolitan talents – namely Gilda Ambrosio, Ciro Pipoli, All About Naples, Vienmsnsuonno1926 and the historic Numeraio – have created a series of graphics inspired by the Neapolitan city using the advanced features of the new Google Pixel 9 smartphone.
The device, thanks to the integration of Gemini artificial intelligence, has proven to be much more than a phone, revealing itself as an ideal tool for artistic creation. From professional photo quality to intuitive editing, the Pixel 9 has thus enabled a fluid and personalized workflow.
The entire activity was curated by nss edicola and J'Adore Napoli, the cultural promotion project of the Neapolitan city promoted by nss which also contributed creatively to the creation of a graphic. The works of the five Neapolitan artists were unveiled on Thursday 12 December during a celebratory event in Piazza San Pasquale in Naples in front of more than a thousand people who had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of digital creativity, exploring the potential of the Google Pixel 9 and discovering how technology can be a source of inspiration and innovation.
The interactive workshop “Made with Google Pixel” curated by nss in collaboration with Collettivo CORE was inaugurated at the Madre Museum over the weekend of December 14 and 15. During the workshop, the public had the opportunity to experience first-hand the creative potential and extraordinary features of the Pixel 9, such as Gemini’s generative artificial intelligence and advanced photographic capabilities.
The event was an opportunity to retrace the numerous artistic and creative collaborations made by Google in recent years, from MSGM to SexsDreams to the artist MyDrama.
The collaboration between Google and nss edicola aims to demonstrate how technology can be a valuable ally for creatives of all disciplines, offering new tools to express ideas and innovate. It also reinforces the role of Naples as the capital of Italian creativity, at the culmination of a two-year period in which the city has been a protagonist of the Italian cultural scene.
