The tender for the management of the waste-to-energy plant has been awarded Acerra for the next 10 years. A2A and Acea were in the race. A2A won with a technical score of 62 and a reduction of 18,50 percent; Acea came in second with a technical score of 48 and a reduction of one percent.

With the discount offered by A2A, the Region will achieve a saving of 15 million euros per year for the ten years of management.
