The city of Giugliano is preparing to host an extraordinary musical festival consisting of eight concerts, which will be held from December 20, 2024 to May 17, 2025. The events will take place at 21:XNUMX pm in the hall of the historic Palazzo Palumbo, once the home of the writer Gianbattista Basile. The festival takes its name from him, a tribute to the intellectual academy of which he was a member.

Francesco Di Bella will open the festival on Friday, December 20 with an acoustic show that will retrace the masterpieces of his historic band, 24 Grana, along with pieces from his solo career.
On Monday, December 30, Grass 'n Wood, accompanied for the occasion by Sergio Carlino and his band, will lead the audience on a musical journey that crosses different eras and genres, from Mediterranean melodies to the sounds of the United States of the 30s. On January 24, the alternative rock group Megaride will present a new musical project in collaboration with Almamegretta.
Giovanni Block, a prominent figure in the Neapolitan music scene, will follow on January 31st with a concert of evocative sounds. Continuing on, on February 28th, the duo Fede 'n Marlen will return to the stage with their third album "Terra di madonne". The evening of March 21st will instead see the performance of La Terza Classe, with a repertoire inspired by North American and European folk.
On April 11th it will be the turn of Francesco Lettieri, pianist, composer and singer-songwriter, who will tell his career through music. The grand finale will be held on Saturday, May 17th with Gianluca Rovinello, who will present his new solo musical project, showing his unique talent as a harpist.
