The city of Giugliano in Campania is preparing to host an extraordinary musical series consisting of eight concerts, to be held from December 20, 2024, to May 17, 2025. The events will take place at 9:00 pm in the hall of the historic Palazzo Palumbo, once the home of writer Gianbattista Basile. The series takes its name from him, a tribute to the intellectual academy to which he belonged.

The concert program

Francesco Di Bella will open the festival on Friday, December 20 with an acoustic show that will retrace the masterpieces of his historic band, 24 Grana, along with pieces from his solo career.

On January 24, the alternative rock group Megaride will present a new musical project in collaboration with Almamegretta.

Giovanni Block, a prominent figure in the Neapolitan music scene, will follow on January 31st with a concert of evocative sounds. The evening of March 21st will instead see the performance of La Terza Classe, with a repertoire inspired by North American and European folk.

On April 11th it will be the turn of Francesco Lettieri, pianist, composer and singer-songwriter, who will tell his career through music. The grand finale will be held on Saturday, May 17th with Gianluca Rovinello, who will present his new solo musical project, showing his unique talent as a harpist.
