“I am a survivor,” he tells in a broken voice to the deputy of the Green-Side Alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who rushed there together with the councilor of the Municipality of Pozzuoli Titti Zazzaro immediately after the attack.
The couple separated in January, after years of domestic violence. But he apparently couldn't stomach the end of the relationship, nor the fact that Gaia had started a new life elsewhere with their son.
The car ambush
It all happened while Gaia was in the car. Her ex, along with two accomplices, dragged her out of the car. Slaps, punches, kicks: just the beginning. Then the escalation: the man tried to kill her, pushing her from the parapet of the Belvedere.

Now it's up to justice to give an answer. But in the meantime, Gaia fights to regain the serenity that was stolen from her.
“That scoundrel is a prison, and he will have to stay there for a long time, but where are the other two?” - declared Borrelli - “They beat her, tried to kill her and kidnap her and yet it seems, for many, that the victim is her ex.
As if a woman becomes the property of men once engaged or married. A reasoning born from a subculture that is far from being eradicated contrary to what is thought.
The two accomplices could be seeking revenge. We want to know if they are at least looking for them and in the meantime, together with the mayor of Bacoli Josy Della Ragione, I have asked that the victim's house be put under surveillance"
