Yesterday evening, Piazza Bellini, one of the central areas of Naples, was the scene of an operation by the State Police that led to the arrest of a 26-year-old originally from Gambia. The man, an illegal immigrant on Italian territory and already known to the police for specific precedents, was arrested on charges of illegal possession of narcotics and drug dealing.
The agents of the Office of General Prevention and Public Aid, engaged in the usual territorial control services, noticed a suspicious exchange between the young man and another person. In exchange for a banknote, the arrested man gave a small package to his interlocutor, who quickly disappeared.

Furthermore, the man had with him 180 euros in cash, divided into banknotes of various denominations, presumably the result of drug dealing. Following the ascertained facts, the man was arrested and placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
