Castellammare – He escaped from house arrest in Calabria to return to his hometown, perhaps for the patron saint's day, but was stopped by the Carabinieri and sent to prison.
This is the 40 year old Antonio Barbato. The man had recently escaped from his home in Marcellinara, in the province of Catanzaro. The 40-year-old, in fact, was in Calabria because he was subject to the precautionary measure of the House arrest.
Having received the news, the soldiers from Castellammare di Stabia carried out an ad hoc operation near the man's home and in the morning they saw him arrive on foot. He was stopped and arrested.
In Pimonte, a pusher was stopped with over 500 grams of marijuana
In Pimonte, however, at the same time, the policeof the local station stopped and checked the 21 year old Carmine Amodio, already known to the police. The search, first personal and then home, allowed the carabinieri to find and seize 527 grams of marijuana. The drug was in a cellophane bag.
