The news was also confirmed by the municipal administration of Pozzuoli which received a communication from the Vesuvius Observatory "that starting from 17:41 a seismic swarm has been underway in the Campi Flegrei area.
The most significant event, located in the Solfatara area near Via Vecchia delle Vigne, occurred at 17:41 local time (UTC 16:41) at a depth of 2.7 km with a magnitude of Md = 1.7 ± 0.3
The event may have been accompanied by a roar heard by residents in areas close to the epicenter.
In light of the above, the Municipal Administration, together with the Civil Protection of the municipality of Pozzuoli, is closely following the evolution of the current swarm and will provide subsequent updates until the end of the phenomenon.

The news of the earthquake was very scary for residents, but hopefully there will be no serious damage. It is important to follow the updates from the competent authorities to better understand the situation.
There have been tremors in that area for a long time, I wonder if the authorities are doing enough to prevent emergency situations in the future. People need security.
Sometimes it seems that earthquakes are more frequent lately, but I don't know if it's just my impression. Let's hope that this seismic swarm does not lead to serious consequences.
