Naples – The coroner Maurizio Saliva, appointed by the Nola Prosecutor's Office to perform the autopsy on the body of the little girl from Acerra who was the victim of an attack by the family dogs, has filed a complaint with the Naples Prosecutor's Office regarding a television interview that aired on February 24 and subsequently went viral on social media.
“Ghost” interview and respect for the confidentiality of the investigation
In the document filed by the lawyer Maurizio Capozzo, Dr. Saliva emphasizes that he has never released any statement to the media, in compliance with the confidentiality obligations imposed by the investigative secrecy during the preliminary investigations.
Furthermore, the coroner specifies that he never had contact with the journalist or with the editorial staff of the television station in question.
Appeal from the Prosecutor of Nola: “Trials are not conducted in the media”
In recent days, the Prosecutor of Nola Marco Del Gaudio, in an interview with Tgr Campania, launched an appeal for respect for the suspects, recalling the law on the presumption of innocence and underlining that "trials are not conducted in the media".
The Prosecutor also denounced the spread of “fake news produced with artificial intelligence” in relation to the case of the little girl from Acerra.
Ongoing investigations and respect for the truth
The Naples Public Prosecutor's Office has started investigations into Dr. Saliva's complaint, while investigations into the death of the little girl from Acerra continue. The authorities' goal is to shed full light on the matter, respecting the truth and dignity of all those involved.

Reading the article I noticed that there are many things that don't add up, especially regarding the interview. I don't understand why the coroner filed a complaint, if he didn't talk to anyone. This seems strange to me.
