The road accident which occurred this morning along the Highway 163 Amalfitana, in the area of Tordigliano which falls within the municipality of Vico Equense.
A bus carrying students was traveling in the direction of Positano when, for reasons yet to be clarified, it collided with a motorcycle.
A violent impact that left the unconscious body of the young motorcyclist on the road, while the bus, having broken through the wall of the roadway, remained balanced in the void, with the front left part of the vehicle suspended.
The Carabinieri of the Sorrento Company and the Fire Brigade intervened on the scene. It was necessary to request the intervention of the helicopter ambulance for the motorcyclist. The injured person is now hospitalized with a red code at the Ruggi hospital in Salerno.
The highway was blocked in both directions, causing long queues. The bus passengers were unharmed.
