The accident occurred this afternoon, along the state road 18, sadly known as the road of death, at kilometer 83 in the locality of Santa Cecilia di Eboli.
In the collision between a car and a motorbike, the motorcyclist, about 50 years old, originally from Agro Nocera, was the one who got the worst of it and died instantly.
The four injured people, including a minor, were transported to the hospital in Salerno by the 118 paramedics, who intervened with two ambulances and a medical car.
The dynamics of the accident are still being reconstructed and the investigations by the Carabinieri of the Eboli Company are still ongoing. The coroner is awaited on site.
