Late yesterday evening, the Police State police arrested a 33-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record for assault and resisting a public official and reported a 22-year-old Neapolitan for the same crimes.
In particular, the Nibbio of the General Prevention Office, during the territorial control service, while passing through via Materdei, noticed two men on board a scooter whose driver, later identified as the 33-year-old, at the sight of the operators, accelerated to elude the control; a long chase began through the maze of the Sanità neighborhood; during the escape, the driver of the scooter performed dangerous maneuvers for road traffic until, having reached via Foria, he suddenly changed direction, violently impacting against the police motorcycle, falling to the ground.
The fall was not enough to make the fugitives desist, in fact, once on the ground the suspects, in order to gain their escape, began to hit the policemen who had a lot of difficulty and after a fight blocked them.
