The ANPI provincial of Salerno has launched a program of events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Liberation, which will begin in January 2025 and will culminate on April 25. The goal is to transform the anniversary into a Memorial Day, remembering the courage of those who took part in the Resistance against Nazi-fascism.
The first meetings were held in various locations in the province, including Angri, Giffoni and Auletta. The next meeting is scheduled in Camerota.
Next Event in Camerota
On April 4, at 18:00 p.m., Palazzo Salerno di Camerota will host an exhibition entitled “I partigiani camerotani”, dedicated to the partisans of the area. On this occasion, Ubaldo Baldi's book, “La resistenza salernitana” will be presented. The event will feature the participation of journalist Valeria Calicchio, Don Gianni Citro and Severino Calicchio, with musical interludes by Giuseppe Galato. The initiative intends to underline the importance of the 1948 Constitution, the result of the struggles for rights and peace.

The event in Camerota seems very interesting, but I don't know if it will be well advertised so that everyone can participate. It would be nice if there were more details about the exhibition and the book by Ubaldo Baldi.
