Student dies on school trip after feeling ill on Naples-Palermo ferry: autopsy tomorrow.
The Prosecutor's Office Torre Annunziata, in conjunction with the Nocera Inferiore court, has ordered an autopsy tomorrow on the body of Aurora Bellini, the 19-year-old student from Grosseto who died while on a school trip.
The girl, along with her class, was on board a ship that left Naples for Palermo when she felt ill and it was fatal. According to the first hypothesis, the young woman was struck down by a heart attack.
The case is being investigated by the Port Authority of Castellammare di Stabia, led by Commander Andrea Pellegrino, who intervened aboard the ferry during the night. After unsuccessful attempts to resuscitate her, the young woman died before docking at the port of Sorrento.
The body is at the disposal of the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office (Prosecutor Nunzio Fragliasso, Deputy Prosecutor Giuliana Moccia), which has opened an investigation for manslaughter, currently against unknown persons.
