Student dies on school trip after feeling ill on Naples-Palermo ferry: autopsy tomorrow.
The Prosecutor's Office Torre Annunziata, in a letter rogatory with that of Nocera Inferiore, has ordered the autopsy for tomorrow on the body of Aurora Bellini, the 19-year-old student from Grosseto who died while on a school trip.
The girl, along with her class, was on board a ship that left Naples for Palermo when she felt ill and it was fatal. According to the first hypothesis, the young woman was struck down by a heart attack.
The case is being investigated by the military of the Port Authority of Castellammare di Stabia, led by Commander Andrea Pellegrino, who intervened on board the ferry during the night. After unsuccessful attempts at resuscitation, the young woman died before landing at the port of Sorrento.
The body is at the disposal of the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office (prosecutor Nunzio Fragliasso, deputy Giuliana Moccia) who has opened an investigation for manslaughter, at the moment against unknown persons.
