Naples – Another drug arrest in Scampia. On Thursday afternoon, the State Police stopped a 47-year-old Neapolitan woman, already known to the police, for illegal possession of narcotics.
The operation began in via Federico Fellini, where agents from the General Prevention Office, engaged in a territorial control service, noticed a suspicious exchange. A man on a bicycle, after receiving money from a person, indicated that person to approach a woman, who handed over something.
The police intervened immediately, stopping the woman and finding her in possession of two packages of cocaine for a total of approximately one gram and seven cylinders of heroin weighing a total of seven grams.
The man on the bicycle managed to escape, abandoning a bag along the way. Inside, the officers found 10 sticks of hashish (about 14 grams) and 17 bags of marijuana (about 20 grams).
The 47-year-old was arrested and will now face charges of illegal possession of drugs. Investigations are continuing to identify the fleeing accomplice.
