Milan – Matteo Lucibello lost his life in a tragic road accident that occurred around 2:30 am in the roundabout between via Ortles and via Condino, in the Vigentino area.
The young driver who died last night in Lombardy while driving his car after celebrating his birthday with a group of friends was 47 years old and originally from Pollica, in Cilento.
The car in which Lucibello was traveling, along with two other men, crashed into the roundabout for reasons still under investigation.
According to initial reconstructions, Lucibello lost control of the vehicle, ending up violently impacting the roundabout. The rescue team intervened immediately: the operations center of the Regional Emergency and Urgency Agency of Lombardy (Areu) sent two ambulances and a medical car to the site.
Lucibello's conditions immediately appeared critical: found in cardiac arrest, he was urgently transported in red code to the Policlinico hospital, where he died shortly after admission.
A 25-year-old traveling with Lucibello was transported in green code to the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Milan. The firefighters also intervened at the scene of the accident, extracting the bodies from the wreckage and securing the area. Local police officers carried out surveys to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.

This is very sad news, but I don't understand how this happened. People need to be more careful when driving, especially after celebrating. I hope the family members are comforted in this difficult time.
