The maxi digital library that makes sharing knowledge possible.

A new service for the community, volunteers and third sector organizations aimed at promoting the dissemination of knowledge and information, thanks to new technologies and digital, to promote culture and help combat educational poverty.

This is MyLibrary, the digital library of CSV Napoli that adheres to MediaLibraryOnLine (MLOL), the first Italian network of public libraries for digital lending, available in over 7000 libraries in all Italian regions and 12 foreign countries.

Specifically, MyLibrary offers free remote access to ebooks, Italian and foreign magazines and newspapers, music, audiobooks, open resources available online and more. MyLibrary is accessible 24 hours a day, 24 days a week and is made up of over 7 open resources: a selection of digital objects curated also with the collaboration of libraries; a completely free collection of ebooks, audiobooks, musical scores, manuscripts, maps, e-learning resources, audio and video archives and much more.

Furthermore, the service aims to give users the opportunity to learn and study in depth the issues related to volunteering and, more generally, to the Third Sector and social policies with a simplified method. A free e-lending service through the SII, the Integrated Information System (CSV Management), usable directly from digital devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) and useful not only for volunteer organizations, volunteers and institutions, but also for students and all citizens interested in learning more and updating their knowledge on Volunteering and the Third Sector.

In particular, in the category dedicated to the Third Sector it is possible to find publications, magazines, in-depth articles, specific reports, surveys, research and statistical dossiers, documents, study reports, databases and mapping of the ETS of the metropolitan city of Naples.
MyLibrary is also designed for those with dyslexia and in general for those who need simplified reading tools and is highly inclusive: in fact, there are approximately 25.000 ebooks available in EPUB format marked with the LIA stamp. These are ebooks produced by publishers taking into account international accessibility standards and then certified as accessible by Fondazione LIA – Libri Italiani Accessibili.

Fondazione LIA – Libri Italiani Accessibili is an organization born in 2014 from the will of the Italian Publishers Association and the Italian Union of the Blind and Partially Sighted to make digital content accessible to all readers.
