Last night, in the Neapolitan neighborhood of Chiaiano, there was a car accident, yet another one, which caused a water main to break. Lots of inconvenience for residents left without running water.

“An entire neighborhood without water because of this accident that happened last night on Via Santa Maria a Cubito” – explains a citizen to the deputy of Alleanza Verdi-Sinistra, Francesco Emilio Borrelli – “A water main was destroyed. It’s not the first time it’s happened because these people drive recklessly as if they were on a Formula 1 track”.

“Yet another accident, yet another act of madness on the road that could have become a tragedy. In the meantime, the inconvenience caused to the population is enormous. A stringent maneuver against road deregulation, madness and high speed is increasingly urgent.

Speed ​​bumps, raised stripes and speed limit in urban centers lowered to 30 km/h for starters. In the meantime we are intervening so that the water supply in Chiaiano is restored as soon as possible” – declared Borrelli.
