Naples. The first-degree trial in the Second Scampia Feud ended with a mixed verdict. Charged with a series of murders, many mafia bosses, including Cesare Pagano, managed to avoid life sentences and the more severe sentences requested by the Prosecutor's Office.
The judge, in the trial that was held with the abbreviated rite, evaluating the evidence and the testimonies, sentenced Cesare Pagano, Renato Napoleone and Carmine Pagano to 30 years in prison each. Other bosses, such as Rito Calzone and Davide Francescone, received sentences of 20 years.

However, some defendants, including Raffaele Musolino, Salvatore Petriccione, Nunzio Talotti and Luca Raiano, were sentenced to life imprisonment.
