A carabiniere was attacked by a man who was trying to avoid a check in Castel San Giorgio, in the province of Salerno. The 30-year-old local man was arrested on charges of resisting a public official and aggravated bodily harm.
According to what was reported by the Public Prosecutor's Office Nocera Inferiore, during a prevention operation, the carabinieri tried to control the suspect, who resisted, trying to escape and, subsequently, attacked one of the soldiers who tried to stop him. The 30-year-old is now under house arrest at his home.
