The musical and theatrical review “Note in viaggio” will start on December 14 in Buccino, with a concert by Piera Lombardi, and will end in Viggianello on December 29. Organized by the Fondazione Grande Lucania onlus, in collaboration with the Banca di Credito Cooperativo Magna Grecia, the initiative aims to promote musical tourism in six locations in the Vallo di Diano.
Program and Objectives
The project, as stated by the President of the Foundation, Giancarlo Guercio, aims to combine music, itineraries and theater to encourage interest in the internal areas, creating synergies between cultural heritage and local tourism. The events will be held in suggestive environments such as churches and auditoriums, highlighting local artists.
Events
The event will begin in Buccino, in the sanctuary of Maria Santissima Immacolata, with Piera Lombardi in a concert that combines Southern Italian traditions and ethno-world Christmas sounds. On December 15, in Vallo della Lucania, Ylenia Cimmino and Pasquale Vitale will perform with a classical repertoire for flute and guitar. On December 21, the Teatro Comunale di Sala Consilina will host the Diesis Ensemble and Alina Di Polito for a tribute to Ennio Morricone, including Christmas classics. On December 22, in Agropoli, at the church of SS. Pietro e Paolo, the recital “La Vita di una Stella” will be held, with a mix of words and music. On December 23, in Muoio della Civitella, Stefano De Majo will perform the piece “E io ci sto”, inspired by Rino Gaetano, accompanied by live music by Export.
Closure and Young Talents
The conclusion of the festival will take place on December 29th in Viggianello with the Christmas concert “In Dulci Jubilo” by the Coro Polifonico di Foria, directed by Pina D'Alessandro and Nicola Napolitano. Particular attention is reserved for young emerging artists such as Michele Pellegrino and Luisa Rizzo, protagonists of the introductory performances to the shows.

It seems that the musical review 'Note in viaggio' is a very interesting initiative, but I do not understand how it can promote tourism. Perhaps it would be useful to have more information on how the artists are chosen and on the detailed program of events.
