Campania Governor Vincenzo De Luca met with union representatives to discuss the future of the Stellantis plant in Pomigliano d'Arco, ahead of a meeting in Rome scheduled for December 17.
The unions stressed the importance of reaffirming the agreements already reached with the Ministry of Economic Development and ensuring the production of new models at the Campania plant.

De Luca has shown himself available to support the unions' requests and has invited a broader reflection on the future of the automotive sector in Campania, which involves approximately 20.000 workers.
The unions also emphasized the need to initiate training programs for workers, given the expiration of the extraordinary redundancy fund, in order to encourage conversion to electric vehicles and guarantee future employment for employees.
