Torre Annunziata – Avoid Prison Carmine Falzarano, 44 years old from Airola known to law enforcement by the nickname “Pescetella”.
The preliminary investigations judge of the Court of Torre Annunziata, Dr. Cozzitorto, has in fact ordered him to be held arrests house arrest, accepting the defense line of the lawyers Vittorio Fucci and G. Vittorio Fucci.
The fate of the co-defendant Alessandro D'Ambrosio, 37 years old from Casalnuovo, was different; his custody in prison was confirmed.
The investigation, which led the two to trial, concerns two thefts that took place in Vico Equense for a total loot of approximately 11 thousand euros. The robberies, aggravated by violence against property and by the commission in complicity, were reconstructed by investigators thanks to a large amount of evidence: footage from the surveillance cameras of the robbed store, images from municipal devices that immortalize Falzarano's car with a clearly visible license plate, as well as telephone records that place him at the scene of the crime.
The suspects were also incriminated by facial recognition and clothing, the same ones Falzarano was wearing during other thefts committed in Vico Equense, for which he had already been arrested previously.
The prosecutor had requested prison for both defendants, emphasizing Falzarano's numerous specific precedents, including robberies and thefts, and accusing him of being a repeat offender. However, the defense managed to obtain a less severe sentence for the 44-year-old from Airola, avoiding prison thanks to a detailed defense brief. D'Ambrosio, on the other hand, remains behind bars.
