On the occasion of the Serie A match between Napoli and Verona, scheduled for Sunday 12 January at 20:45 at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium, extraordinary metro runs on Line 2 will be activated to facilitate the outflow of spectators. The initiative, organized by Trenitalia Regionale in collaboration with the Campania Region and the Municipality of Naples, will guarantee an extended service beyond the usual timetable.
There will be seven additional trips departing from the Naples Campi Flegrei station, five of which will go to Naples San Giovanni-Barra and two to Pozzuoli, for a total of 3.400 additional seats. To access the special trains, it will be necessary to show a valid travel ticket to the dedicated staff, who will collaborate with the Police to direct passengers to the platforms.
Fans are advised to purchase tickets in advance to avoid long waits. For the occasion, the ticket office at the Naples Campi Flegrei station will remain open until the end of the event. In addition, there will be customer service and security personnel at the Naples Piazza Garibaldi and Naples Campi Flegrei. The Piazza Leopardi station, however, will be closed to the public starting at 22:30 pm.
