SALERNO – After more than 13 years since the bankruptcy of Salernitana Calcio e more than a decade since the indictment, the sentence arrives First Criminal Section of the Court of Salerno: Antonio Lombardi, Antonio Loschiavo and Francesco Rispoli were acquitted of all charges relating to the matter.
The former president of Salernitana, Anthony Lombardi, was defended by lawyers Joseph DeAngelis e Gianluca D'Aiuto, while Anthony the Slave he was assisted by the lawyer Genseric Miniaci e Francis Rispoli by lawyers Christina Riccardi e Alfredo Troisi.
The Court has Lombardi acquitted with the formula “for not having committed the crime” from the accusation of fraudulent distractive bankruptcy and with the formula "because the fact does not exist" from the accusation of post-bankruptcy documentary bankruptcy. Regarding simple bankruptcy and minor tax crimes, the proceedings have been declared prescribed.
Satisfaction was expressed by the defense team: "The Court has recognized the correctness of the actions of Dr. Lombardi and the other subjects involved. After a long judicial process, this sentence finally puts an end to the matter", the lawyers declared De Angelis e Help.
The Anthony Lombardi commented on the decision: "This sentence confirms what I have always maintained since the beginning of the investigation. It has been a long and complex judicial process, which has profoundly affected my personal and professional life. I have always placed full trust in the Judiciary and today the facts have been definitively clarified".
