The sports hall located in the municipal facility called “PalaDennerlein” has been granted an eight-year concession.
The procedure has been completed which concerns exclusively the sports hall which is part of the sports complex in via delle Repubbliche Marinare, previously affected by redevelopment works requested by the municipal administration of Napoli.
The availability of the facility represents an important point of reference for sports practice in the territory of the VI Municipality, also in view of next year's initiatives when Naples will be the European Capital of Sport.
“We have taken an important step forward in the process of repurposing and reusing a sports complex that has been out of use for years, vandalized and taken away from the community for too long,” explained the Councilor for Sport and Equal Opportunities, Emanuela Ferrante.
This intervention is part of the complex plan to relaunch our sports facilities, which has been active for some time now throughout the city. Giving back to the kids of Barra and Ponticelli, and of the entire city, a sports hall, makes me particularly happy.
