Naples – 242 people have been forced to leave their homes following the earthquakes that have hit the Campi Flegrei area in recent days.

Ordinances and evacuees
The municipalities of Naples, Pozzuoli and Bacoli have issued 23 orders of uninhabitability, affecting 114 families, for a total of 242 people. Most of the evacuees have found accommodation on their own, while a group of 37 people have been housed in hotels. “Almost everyone has found a solution on their own,” said Prefect Di Bari, thanking the entities involved for their efforts during these days of emergency.
Reception areas and logistical support
Two waiting areas have been activated in Bacoli, while a third is planned in Monte di Procida. In Naples, the structure in via Acate, in Bagnoli, is fully operational and also offers overnight hospitality to evacuees.
Currently, there are 19 people hosted in the facility, including 8 who arrived today. In addition, the Municipality of Naples has made available the “Francesco e Chiara” facility in Marechiaro, with a capacity of about 40 places, intended in particular for people with disabilities, families with newborns or those experiencing situations of strong psychological stress.
Checks and evacuations
The technicians of the Municipality of Naples, the Civil Protection and the fire brigade are continuing to check public and private buildings. Today families were evacuated in various areas, including via Di Niso, via Miseno, via Bagnoli and via Eurialo, for a total of 184 people involved (87 families). An uninhabited building in via Pozzuoli was checked.
Schools and educational activities
Checks are also continuing in the schools of the tenth municipality, with the aim of reopening the schools as soon as possible. The tests will conclude tomorrow, allowing the resumption of teaching activities in safety.
