A 43-year-old man, resident in San Valentino Torio, was reported for aggravated theft to the Nocera Inferiore Prosecutor's Office in relation to a sacrilegious theft that occurred in the Salerno area. The man is suspected of having stolen brass religious objects from a local congregation.
The complaint was issued in the context of an extraordinary control service conducted in the Nocera Sarnese countryside by the Carabinieri of the Nocera Inferiore Territorial Department. This service led to the arrest of one person and five complaints, including one for the theft of religious objects, which were forwarded to the Nocera Inferiore Prosecutor's Office, in addition to a report to the Prefecture.
The operation involved 30 members of the Carabinieri and 12 patrols, who carried out checks on 104 vehicles, identified 12 people and issued 7 fines for violations of the Highway Code. Among the reports, those for evasion, building violation and aggravated theft stand out. A young man of Moroccan origin was reported for evasion after he was not found in his home, despite being under the precautionary measure of house arrest.
A 50-year-old man was reported for building violations for the construction of a structure and a swimming pool without authorization, while a 59-year-old individual was reported for stealing headlights from a parked car. During the service, an order was executed by the investigating judge of the Court of Lecce who applied the precautionary measure of house arrest against a 55-year-old man, investigated for stalking his ex-wife.
Finally, a 19-year-old from Boscoreale was reported to the Prefecture of Salerno as a drug user. In another operation, the Carabinieri of the Labor Inspectorate of Salerno reported the owner of a business in the Nocera Sarnese countryside for violations of the Consolidated Law on the safety and protection of workers' health in the workplace, with the application of suspension for 'illegal work' and fines amounting to approximately 31 thousand euros.
