Two people from Cervinara, accused of harassment and threats following the death of a relative in an accident, have been acquitted.
The Single Judge of the Court of Avellino, accepting the arguments of the lawyer Vittorio Fucci, acquitted FT, aged 72, and MM, aged 38, both residents of Cervinara.
The two had been reported for having conducted, over a long period of time, a series of harassment and threats through numerous anonymous threatening calls towards a relative of a young woman from Cervinara.
The latter was allegedly driving the car involved in an accident in which two girls lost their lives, one of whom was the niece and cousin of the two defendants respectively. However, the judge, accepting the defense line of the lawyer Fucci, pronounced the acquittal for both.
