Schools remain a favourite target for thieves, as demonstrated by two recent incidents of theft in the municipalities of Angri e Nocera Inferiore.
A Angri, during the night between Sunday and Monday, criminals broke into the “Galvani-Opromolla” middle school in via Alighieri. The thieves stole various computers and technological tools, including those used by disabled students. Safes and several drawers were also forced open.
In Nocera Inferiore, a gang of thieves hit the Cicalesi primary school, part of the third Comprehensive Institute. Here, 52 computers, recently purchased with PNRR funds, were stolen, causing an estimated damage of over 20 thousand euros.
Both thefts have been reported to law enforcement, who are investigating to try to recover the stolen material and identify the perpetrators.
