In Naples, in the Scampia neighborhood, the Carabinieri of the local station arrested Stefano Forio, a 64-year-old from Melito, already known to the police, for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing and resisting a public official.

The military noticed the man aboard a Fiat Panda with foreign license plates and attempted to stop him, but a short chase ensued, ending in via Tancredi Galimberti. After stopping the 64-year-old, they searched him, finding him in possession of eight blocks of hashish for a total of half a kilo.
Subsequently, the search was extended to his home, where 1.175 euros in cash were found and seized, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity.
The man was then transferred to prison.
