Next weekend, the small Teatro La Mennola on Via Salvatore Calenda will host the show "IO E TE...AMORE PER SEMPRE," a tribute to Gabriele D'Annunzio and Matilde Serao. Directed by and starring Antonello De Rosa, the show will take place on Saturday, March 15th at 9:00 PM and Sunday, March 16th at 7:00 PM.

A Drama of Powerful Emotional Intensity

Based on the novel “Giovanni Episcopo” by D'Annunzio, the work explores the torment of a vulnerable man forced to endure humiliation for the sake of his sick son. The story culminates in an extreme act of rebellion, when the protagonist, driven by pride, commits a murder. The drama takes place in a mental asylum, where reality merges with delirium, giving life to a representation with surreal tones.

I am very interested in this show by Antonello De Rosa, but I heard that tickets sell out quickly. It will be interesting to see how the interpretation of emotions is represented on stage, I hope to be able to go.
