Covid: 138 inmates positive in prisons in Campania. 53 in Benevento alone, 26 in Avellino, 21 in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, 19 in Arienzo, 10 in Poggioreale, 6 in Secondigliano, 2 in Aversa, 2 in Pozzuoli and 1 in Salerno
“Ad oggi sono 138 i detenuti campani risultati positivi al Covid 19, con una punta notevole nella casa circondariale di Benevento, dove ci sono 53 detenuti positivi. Sono, invece, 26 quelli affetti da Covid nel carcere di Avellino, 21 a Santa Maria Capua Vetere, 19 ad Arienzo, 10 a Poggioreale, di cui due ricoverati in hospital, 6 a Secondigliano, 2 sia ad Aversa che a Salerno e 1 a Pozzuoli. Gli operatori penitenziari campani contagiati sono 85. Il carcere di Benevento, che attualmente ospita 368 detenuti, di cui 50 donne e 47 stranieri, merita un’attenzione particolare”.
