Aversa, robbery through a tunnel at the Marotta jewelry store: friends raise funds on the web to help owners.
“What happened to the Marotta jewelry store could have happened to any of us.” In this spirit, the friends of the owners of the commercial establishment located in Via Roma, in the very center of Aversa, looted by the "gang of the hole" last July 20, have promoted an online fundraiser, through the "GoFundMe" platform, to lend a hand to recover following the huge losses not only in terms of merchandise but also in terms of structure.
“Around 10 in the morning, say the promoters of the collection, qfour well-organized robbers entered the store through the floor through a tunnel created in the sewer pipe. Despite two reports made to various authorities following videos recorded by the cameras and noises heard at various times of the day and night, it was not possible to stop this disaster in time, so Gabriele Marotta and his family have lost the sacrifices of a lifetime”.
“And we, our long-time friends, colleagues, and citizens of Aversa emphasize, want to give them concrete help, because this is what you do in a community when someone is in difficulty: you help each other. Losing everything you have built in forty years of work is something you wouldn't wish on anyone.”
The campaign, already active for a few days, has in the meantime reached almost 4.000 euros. Those who want to join can click on the following link: https://gf.me/la-storia-di-una-famiglia-distrutta-da-5-criminali
