Yesterday morning, officers from the General Prevention Office, during their territorial control service, while passing through via Labriola, checked the driver of a van that was proceeding in the direction of via Tancredi Galimberti.
During the identification phases, the man showed himself intolerant to the control, therefore the operators checked the cargo area of the vehicle, ascertaining that the man was transporting 80kg of bread intended for consumption without any labelling or traceability in violation of the law on the processing and trade of cereals, flours, bread and pasta.
A 50-year-old Neapolitan with a criminal record was reported for failure to comply with the hygiene regulations for the production and sale of food and beverages, while the seized bread was delivered to the Naples zoo.
