Naples. They imposed a bribe on the merchants of the market of the Sant'Antonio Abate district known as Buvero asking the merchants to buy shopping bags on behalf of the Contini clan.
And this is why this morning personnel from the Naples Flying Squad and the Vicaria Police Station executed a custodial order in prison, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against the twin brothers: Francesco Pio De Luca and Fabio De Luca, both 22 years old.
The two are considered seriously suspected of attempted extortion and illegal possession of a firearm aggravated by mafia methods.
The investigation began in December 2021 and brought to light the extortion activity carried out by the recipients of the measure to the detriment of traders in the Borgo di Sant'Antonio Abate area, forced to acquire plastic bags such as shoppers, the sale of which would be imposed on all traders in the area by the Contini clan, of the criminal cartel called Alleanza di Secondigliano.
The measure follows the investigations that last month led to the imprisonment of members of the Mazzarella clan who instead imposed the piazzo on traders in La Maddalena.
