An 17 year old from Napoli è stato denunciato per truffa aggravata dalla Polfer di Florence. Il ragazzo è stato sorpreso venerdì sera alla stazione ferroviaria di Santa Maria Novella con lo zaino carico di gioielli e denaro, bottino di una truffa a una donna di 90 anni.
The 17-year-old had 70 gold jewels worth 25.000 euros and an envelope with 1.600 euros. A sheet of A4 paper signed by the victim was also found on him, in which a “guarantee fund” was accepted for her son.
The woman had been contacted by phone by a fake policeman who had asked her for money to avoid prison for her son, responsible for a non-existent road accident. The 90-year-old had then handed over to a self-styled “court trainee” all her valuables and 1.600 euros.
Thanks to the intervention of the Polfer, jewels and money were returned to the victim. The 17-year-old was reported for aggravated fraud.
