Asia is fighting against her disease and is undergoing chemotherapy cycles at the pediatric oncology department of the Santobono – Pausillipon hospital in Napoli. “We returned home a few hours ago after undergoing some treatments in Naples,” explains Rossana, Asia's mother.
“The ugly story of bullying is now behind us. I thank all those who have shown us closeness. This shows that there is more to it than just rottenness.” Rossana emphasizes the importance of reacting positively to bullying, as Asia did, who never let herself be intimidated by unpleasant comments.
Rossana expresses particular gratitude to Italy Two TV and to the young man Lawyer Valentina Gasaro, “who were the first to take our story to heart, helping me give voice to the cruelty suffered by my daughter Asia.”
The family is considering whether to file a complaint. “We came back yesterday afternoon and we didn't have time to think about anything,” concludes Rossana. “As a mother, I want to make an appeal: let's teach our children to be better people so that these bad things never happen again.”
