The Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit of Castello di Cisterna, on behalf of the District Attorney's Office of Naples, executed a custodial order against 11 people accused of association for the purpose of drug trafficking.
The operation, which represents the third wave of arrests since last summer, brings the total number of arrests to 40. The investigations, carried out between June 2022 and April 2023, have allowed the identification of two distinct criminal groups active in Acerra.
The clans sourced drugs from other groups in the province of Naples and then resold them at retail. “drug plazas” or with home deliveries.
