The Carabinieri deal a heavy blow to the Fabbrocino clan: precautionary measures issued for 13 people, extortion against commercial activities documented and two companies seized.
The Carabinieri of the Investigative Nucleus of the Castello di Cisterna Group have executed a precautionary order issued by the GIP of the Court of Napoli at the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, against 13 individuals.
Of these, 12 were placed in pre-trial detention in prison, while 1 was required to report to the judicial police.
The defendants are accused, to varying degrees, of mafia association, illegal possession and carrying of weapons, extortion and attempted extortion, fraudulent transfer of assets, with the aggravating circumstance of having favored the interests of the Fabbrocino clan, active at Palma Campania and in the surrounding areas, using mafia methods and the intimidating force of the criminal group.
The extortions were allegedly directed at several entrepreneurs, in order to allow them to continue their business. In addition, two companies believed to be linked to the clan were preemptively seized.
