The Conca Film Festival opened its doors in the charming village of Alto Casertano, offering a cultural experience that integrates cinema, art, and environmental sustainability, attracting the attention of students and film enthusiasts.
A Festival between Cinema and Sustainability
The second edition of the Conca Film Festival (CFF 24) was opened by Mayor David Simone, accompanied by artistic directors Alino and Claudia De Angelis. The event, funded by Next Generation EU, aims to promote social inclusion and awareness of the region. Among the main screenings were "Yaya e Lennie" by Alessandro Rak and "Indivisibili" by Edoardo De Angelis, with the participation of their respective directors.
Events and Exhibitions
In addition to the film program, the festival also features permanent exhibitions on socially and environmentally relevant topics. "Sensuability" addresses overcoming stereotypes about disability, while "EcoItineraries" focuses on sustainable tourism. Initiatives also include "Trash Character" and "The WEEE Issue," which focus on recycling practices.
Opportunities for Discovery and Knowledge
Festival visitors will have the opportunity to explore the village's historic treasures, including the castle and a recently restored fresco. Additionally, on December 21st, a discussion on sustainable agriculture and environmental monitoring with bees, organized by Copagri, will take place.
