The Naples Municipal Police carried out a seizure in the Traiano district, where over 200 pyrotechnic articles and 50 batteries of 100 high-powered rounds were found. The material was transported by a motor vehicle and, following a search at the residence of the driver, a 52-year-old Neapolitan woman, other dangerous explosive material was found.

The people found in possession of the material were reported at liberty to the judicial authorities, while the seized material was handed over to the State Police bomb disposal squad for subsequent destruction.
