Demi Moore was back in the spotlight at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe, where she received the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical or Comedy for her role in 'The Substance'.
The 62-year-old actress shared her experience with Adnkronos, calling her work in the film a true liberation. “Making this film was a liberation,” she said, “I learned not only to accept myself more but also to not be afraid to show myself for who I am. This role is a gift for me.”
In the film, directed by Coralie Fargeat, Demi Moore plays a struggling protagonist, a Hollywood actress who is fired from an aerobics program ahead of her 50th birthday. Her desperation leads her to use a drug that promises to transform her into a perfect, youthful version of herself, played by Margaret Qualley.

I read about actress Demi Moore winning a Golden Globe. It's interesting how she describes her experience in the film, but I don't really understand how a role can be called a gift. Maybe it's just a matter of perception.
