Two Kings face to face, namely the pizza king Franco Pepe from Caiazzo in the province of Caserta and the King of England, His Majesty Charles III.
The famous pizza maestro Franco Pepe was a guest at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire to celebrate the excellence of Italian cuisine. And he wanted to express his thanks through his social media channels.
"I want to share these images with you, which for me represent a great privilege and an indescribable emotion. I am honored and still incredulous to have taken part, yesterday, in an extraordinary celebration of Italian cuisine in England."
His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted a gala dinner at their Highgrove estate in Gloucestershire on February 7. An exclusive event attended by international stars and illustrious representatives of Italian gastronomy in the world.
The King said: “Good food brings people together and what we choose to eat helps define us; as families, communities and nations.”
