The Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli company have completed an important anti-drug operation which led to the arrest of a 45-year-old with no criminal record in Giugliano in Campania.
The military carried out a series of searches that led to the discovery of a domestic production of synthetic drugs.
The search of the suspect's home, apparently above suspicion, revealed a real chemical drug laboratory. Among the substances seized, there are 879 doses of ecstasy (352 grams), 11 packages of Ketamine (229 grams), 2 packages of MDMA (44 grams) and a significant quantity of pink cocaine.
In addition to the narcotics, a precision scale and various materials for packaging drugs were found. Preliminary investigations indicate that the arrested person personally produced some of the substances, although he did not disdain purchasing them online and using social media channels for sales.
The man was transferred to prison awaiting trial, while investigations continue to understand the entire network behind the production and distribution of the seized drugs.
