Naples – Four more anti-mafia bans have been signed by the Prefect of Napoli within the framework of the programme for the prevention and fight against the infiltration of organised crime and the protection of the legal economy by the Prefecture in Naples.
And this is why the intense anti-mafia prevention activity continues, carried out by the Prefecture with the support of the Police Force and the Anti-mafia Investigation Division.
In the last few days the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, has adopted 4 further anti-mafia bans against the same number of companies, operating in the sectors of procurement, gaming rooms, food trade and beverage distributors, with headquarters in the municipalities of Naples, Gragnano, Castellammare of Stabia and Meta di Sorrento.
The targeted action implemented at the Prefecture is contributing significantly to anticipating the threshold of protection of economic public order, averting the risk of mafia infiltration in the market, countering the contamination of the "legal economy" by criminal associations rooted in the territory, safeguarding economic public order, protecting free competition between businesses and ensuring the proper functioning of the Public Administration.
